About 微信读书
WeRead (Weixin Dushu) is Tencent's e-book app, closely tied to the WeChat ecosystem so you can see what friends are reading, gift books and share reviews. Its library covers published books, web fiction, comics and narrated book talks, from classic literature to new non-fiction and the source novels of popular TV dramas.
The Android app offers adjustable fonts and themes, highlighting, notes and thoughts that are saved for later review, plus reader recommendation scores, reviews and curated rankings. A paid membership unlocks much of the published catalogue, while web novels are bought separately. The web version also lets you send your own e-books to your phone bookshelf.

How to install
“Install unknown apps” is blocked
This is an Android security setting. Allow “Install unknown apps” only for the app you use to open the APK (such as your file manager), and turn it off again afterwards.
“There was a problem parsing the package”
The APK is usually incomplete, or your Android version is older than the app requires. Download it again and check the system requirements on this page.
It conflicts with an installed version
An APK signed differently cannot replace an app installed from an app store. Update it from the store, or back up and uninstall the old version first.
