About HandBrake
HandBrake is a free, open-source video transcoder built by volunteers and released under the GPL-2.0. It converts video from nearly any source format into widely supported modern codecs, and ships with a set of official presets so you can get good results for common devices with a single click.
The Windows version is available for x64 and Arm64, installs through a standard wizard and depends on the Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime. It can use hardware encoders such as NVIDIA NVENC, Intel Quick Sync Video and AMD VCN, and offers a job queue, previews, quality and bitrate controls, audio, subtitle and chapter handling, plus a command-line version for automation.
