Tencent Meeting is Tencent Cloud's audio and video conferencing service, launched in December 2019 and now widely used by companies, schools and individuals in China. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile platforms and HarmonyOS, and guests can also join via a WeChat mini program. The Windows download page offers both a standard installer and a 32-bit build, as well as an official Outlook add-in.
The desktop client is built for hosting and presenting. You can share part of your screen, view PowerPoint notes while presenting, run polls and check-ins, open breakout rooms and use virtual backgrounds, while hosts manage the room with waiting rooms, passwords and participant permissions. Cloud recording, captions, live transcription and AI summaries help with follow-up, and a dark mode can follow the system. The free plan supports up to 100 participants with a 40-minute cap for meetings of three or more; paid plans share the same client.
