Mozilla Thunderbird is a free and open-source personal information manager, primarily an email client with a built-in calendar and address book. It also works as an RSS feed reader, news client and chat client for IRC, XMPP and Matrix. It is released under the MPL-2.0 license and operated by MZLA Technologies, a subsidiary of the Mozilla Foundation.
On Windows, Thunderbird handles multiple email accounts that can be managed separately or through a unified inbox, with tags, folders and filters to keep mail organized. Add-ons extend its features. The project is funded by user donations and states that it does not sell ads in your inbox.
