TranslucentTB
About TranslucentTB
TranslucentTB is a lightweight, open-source utility licensed under GPL-3.0 that changes the look of the Windows 10 and Windows 11 taskbar. It uses only a few megabytes of RAM and almost no CPU, and is controlled entirely from its tray icon.
You can choose between Normal, Opaque, Clear, Blur and Acrylic states and pick colors with an alpha-aware color picker and live preview. Dynamic modes switch the taskbar to a different appearance when a window is visible or maximized, or when Start, Search or Task View is open. It can toggle the Aero Peek button on Windows 10 or the taskbar line on Windows 11, and works with RoundedTB and ExplorerPatcher. It is free on the Microsoft Store, with an appinstaller and a Windows 11-only portable build on GitHub.

Antivirus blocks it

Won’t start, or a DLL is missing
Usually a missing runtime. Install Microsoft’s Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) and the .NET Desktop Runtime, then try again.
