About QQ
QQ is the instant messenger Tencent launched in 1999 under the name OICQ and renamed Tencent QQ in 2000. It now runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, and the Android app, often called Mobile QQ, lets you text, send pictures and voice messages, and start voice or video calls from your phone. You can sign in with a QQ number or with a phone number or email address linked to it.
What sets QQ apart is its community features. QQ groups support text, voice and video conversations, with owners and admins managing members, shared group files and photo albums. QQ Channels split a community into topic-based sub-channels, similar to Discord, while QQ Zone keeps the classic status and photo-sharing feed. Basic use is free; optional paid memberships unlock cosmetic perks and larger groups.

How to install
“Install unknown apps” is blocked
This is an Android security setting. Allow “Install unknown apps” only for the app you use to open the APK (such as your file manager), and turn it off again afterwards.
“There was a problem parsing the package”
The APK is usually incomplete, or your Android version is older than the app requires. Download it again and check the system requirements on this page.
It conflicts with an installed version
An APK signed differently cannot replace an app installed from an app store. Update it from the store, or back up and uninstall the old version first.
