Bruno
About Bruno
Bruno is an open-source API client for sending requests, debugging APIs and writing tests, positioned as a lightweight alternative to Postman-style platforms. Collections live as folders of human-readable text files on your disk, so they can sit next to your code and be branched, diffed and reviewed with Git.
Bruno is local-only, with no cloud sync and no account required. It supports REST, GraphQL, gRPC and WebSocket, environments and variables, OAuth, scripting and assertions, code generation and Postman imports, plus a CLI for CI pipelines. The Mac app ships in Apple silicon and Intel builds and is also available via Homebrew. Most features are free under the MIT license, with paid editions for teams.
