About Pearcleaner
Pearcleaner is a free, source-available, fair-code licensed app cleaner for macOS by alienator88, inspired by Freemacsoft's AppCleaner. It finds the preferences, caches and support files an app scatters across the system so you can remove them along with the app, and it can search for orphaned files left behind by apps already deleted.
Beyond uninstalling, it includes a development environment manager, file search, Homebrew, PKG, plugin and services managers, an apps updater, a Finder extension for right-click uninstall, CLI and deep-link automation, and Sentinel, which cleans up automatically when apps hit the Trash. It requires macOS 13 or later. The developer has announced that the project is currently on hold.

How to install
“App is damaged and can’t be opened”
Move the app into Applications, open Terminal, run this line, then open the app again:
xattr -cr "/Applications/Pearcleaner.app"“Developer cannot be verified”
In Finder → Applications, Control-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. On macOS 15 or later: System Settings → Privacy & Security, then “Open Anyway” at the bottom.
Apple silicon or Intel?
Apple menu → About This Mac. If the chip says Apple M, pick the Apple silicon build; Universal works on both.
Check the file
Run this in Terminal and compare the result with the SHA256 listed for the cloud file:
