About Stats

Stats is a free, open-source system monitor for the macOS menu bar, created by Serhiy Mytrovtsiy and released under the MIT license. Instead of opening Activity Monitor, you can see key metrics at a glance and click for detailed charts.

Its modules cover CPU and GPU utilization, memory usage, disk utilization, network usage, battery level, sensor readings such as temperature, voltage and power, Bluetooth device batteries and a multiple time zone clock. Fan control remains available as a legacy, unmaintained feature. Each module can be toggled independently to reduce energy impact. Stats supports macOS 12 Monterey and newer and can be installed from a DMG or with Homebrew.

Key features

  • CPU and GPU utilization in the menu bar
  • Memory and disk usage
  • Network traffic
  • Battery and Bluetooth device levels
  • Temperature, voltage and power sensors
  • Multiple time zone clock
