About ToDesk
ToDesk is a remote desktop app from Hainan Youqu Technology with a free personal edition and clients for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and HarmonyOS. On a Mac it works both as a controller and as a host for remote assistance.
You connect by entering the other device's code and temporary password. ToDesk offers fast file transfer with drag-and-drop and copy-paste, multi-monitor and virtual screens, a privacy screen that blanks the host display, and a design edition with true-colour mode and drawing tablet mapping. As with any remote control app on macOS, the host Mac must grant Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions before it can be controlled.

How to install
“App is damaged and can’t be opened”
Move the app into Applications, open Terminal, run this line, then open the app again:
xattr -cr "/Applications/ToDesk.app"“Developer cannot be verified”
In Finder → Applications, Control-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. On macOS 15 or later: System Settings → Privacy & Security, then “Open Anyway” at the bottom.
Apple silicon or Intel?
Apple menu → About This Mac. If the chip says Apple M, pick the Apple silicon build; Universal works on both.
Check the file
Run this in Terminal and compare the result with the SHA256 listed for the cloud file:
