About Termux
Termux is an open-source terminal emulator and Linux environment for Android. It works without rooting or setup: a minimal base system is installed automatically, and additional packages such as Git, OpenSSH, Python, Node.js and Vim can be installed with the APT package manager familiar from Debian and Ubuntu.
You can choose between Bash, fish or Zsh, edit with nano, Emacs or Vim, connect to servers over ssh, call APIs with curl and back up files with rsync. With a Bluetooth keyboard and an external display it becomes a portable workstation. Official plugins like Termux:API, Termux:Boot and Termux:Widget extend it further. The app and its plugins must all come from the same source because APKs from different sources are signed with different keys.

How to install
“Install unknown apps” is blocked
This is an Android security setting. Allow “Install unknown apps” only for the app you use to open the APK (such as your file manager), and turn it off again afterwards.
“There was a problem parsing the package”
The APK is usually incomplete, or your Android version is older than the app requires. Download it again and check the system requirements on this page.
It conflicts with an installed version
An APK signed differently cannot replace an app installed from an app store. Update it from the store, or back up and uninstall the old version first.
