AltTab
About AltTab
AltTab is a free, open-source window switcher for macOS, developed in the open on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license since 2018. Unlike the built-in Command-Tab, which switches between apps, AltTab lists every individual window, including minimized, hidden and other-Space windows, with thumbnails and a full-size preview of the selected one.
It uses Option-Tab by default so it does not clash with Command-Tab, though it can replace it. It follows light and dark mode, supports trackpad gestures, VoiceOver and a command-line interface, and runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 12 or later. The core features are free forever; the optional AltTab Pro adds search, more styles, auto-size and extra shortcuts.
