About Raycast
Raycast is an application launcher and productivity tool developed by Raycast Technologies Ltd for macOS and Windows. Often used as a richer alternative to Spotlight, it opens from a hotkey and lets you launch apps, search files and run commands from the keyboard, with an extension store that adds integrations for tools like Linear, Spotify, Notion, Slack and 1Password.
Built-in features include clipboard history, window management, snippets, quicklinks, file search, a calculator, an emoji picker and Raycast Notes. The personal plan is free and covers all built-in and public community extensions, for personal and organizational use. Raycast AI, including AI chat, Quick AI and AI extensions, is part of the paid Pro plans and can be turned off completely.

How to install
“App is damaged and can’t be opened”
Move the app into Applications, open Terminal, run this line, then open the app again:
xattr -cr "/Applications/Raycast.app"“Developer cannot be verified”
In Finder → Applications, Control-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. On macOS 15 or later: System Settings → Privacy & Security, then “Open Anyway” at the bottom.
Apple silicon or Intel?
Apple menu → About This Mac. If the chip says Apple M, pick the Apple silicon build; Universal works on both.
Check the file
Run this in Terminal and compare the result with the SHA256 listed for the cloud file:
