About Blender
Blender for Mac gives macOS users the full open-source 3D creation suite developed by the Blender Foundation and its community. Modeling, sculpting, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, motion tracking and video editing all live in one application.
It includes the Cycles path tracer for realistic output, the real-time EEVEE renderer for fast previews and final frames, and Workbench for viewport display. Geometry Nodes enables procedural workflows, Grease Pencil combines 2D drawing with 3D scenes, and a Python API supports scripts and add-ons. Compared with commercial packages, Blender costs nothing for personal or commercial use and has a huge community of tutorials and plugins.

How to install
“App is damaged and can’t be opened”
Move the app into Applications, open Terminal, run this line, then open the app again:
xattr -cr "/Applications/Blender.app"“Developer cannot be verified”
In Finder → Applications, Control-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. On macOS 15 or later: System Settings → Privacy & Security, then “Open Anyway” at the bottom.
Apple silicon or Intel?
Apple menu → About This Mac. If the chip says Apple M, pick the Apple silicon build; Universal works on both.
Check the file
Run this in Terminal and compare the result with the SHA256 listed for the cloud file:
