IINA
About IINA
IINA is a free and open-source video player designed specifically for macOS, released under the GPLv3 and maintained by its community. Built on mpv, it combines strong decoding capability with an interface that feels native to the Mac, supporting trackpad gestures, media keys, Picture in Picture, Live Text, Force Touch and the Touch Bar.
IINA covers subtitles, playlists, chapters and video thumbnails, searches subtitles online, offers a standalone music mode and lets you customize keyboard, mouse and trackpad controls. Plugins add new subtitle sources, tools and interfaces, and a command-line tool and browser extensions are provided. It requires macOS 12.0, or macOS 11.0 on Intel, and contains no tracking or telemetry.
